Here's a little more about me.

MEET PHILIP

“Good government isn’t complicated. Listen to people. Solve problems. Earn trust. Leave the community better than you found it.”

- Dr. Philip Lindholm

As your Lakewood City Councilmember, I am committed to ensuring our city is a place where every resident can thrive. I want Lakewood to be a community where our children don’t want to leave and our seniors can afford to stay, a place where every chapter of life belongs. To me, Lakewood is more than a city; it’s a community that faces real challenges in public safety, affordability, and responsible growth. Addressing these issues requires leaders who listen, collaborate, and act with integrity. That’s the spirit I bring to my work every single day.

As a small business owner with a background in mediation and real estate, I understand how to strengthen our local economy, revitalize our downtown, and help the Colonial Center become the vibrant heart of Lakewood. As a former Captain  in the Air Force, I know how to listen and lead. Finally, as the son of a senior citizen, father of a teenager, and former grief-group counselor at Mary Bridge Hospital, I understand the importance of protecting our most vulnerable residents. My goal is to ensure that our neighborhoods remain safe and strongfor generations to come.
